We inspect your device within 2 business days of it arriving. If it matches what you told us, we release payment the same day. Stripe payouts usually land in 1–2 business days, PayPal is instant, checks go out by USPS within 3 business days.

We send you a revised offer with photos and a plain-English reason. You can accept it, or decline and we ship the device back to you for free. If we do not hear from you within 7 days, the revised offer is accepted automatically — this is disclosed in our Terms.

Yes. After you accept an offer we email you a prepaid label. Print it, pack the device following our packing guide, and drop it at any location for that carrier.

Lithium batteries are regulated dangerous goods. A swollen, leaking or physically damaged lithium battery may not be shipped through any carrier. If yours is damaged we will arrange a local drop-off in the Treasure Valley instead of a label.

Yes. Cover the entire glass with clear packing tape, wrap the device in bubble wrap, and put it in a rigid box with padding on all sides. The label we issue is a ground service, which is required for devices containing batteries.

Every storage device is wiped to NIST SP 800-88 before it is resold or recycled. Devices that cannot be wiped have their storage physically destroyed. You can download a data-sanitisation certificate from your account once it is done — but please back up and sign out of your accounts before shipping.

Yes. Local secondhand-dealer rules require us to record a government photo ID for anyone we buy from, and you must be 18 or older. We store only the last four digits in readable form; the rest is encrypted and deleted after the retention period.

No. We check every IMEI. If a phone is reported lost, stolen or has an unpaid balance we cannot pay for it and will return it or hand it over to the carrier as the law requires.
